But this isn’t the case. The IRS gave warning yesterday of a new email phishing scam. The scam wants you to believe that the IRS and the US Government are partnering to solicit donations for victims of the Southern California Wildfires. The link in the email goes to a website that looks like the IRS website, but is not. It’s shameful the way scammers take advantage of tragedy.
