Mark these dates so you don\u2019t forget!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Open Enrollment for Marketplace Insurance: November 1, 2018 &#8211; December 15, 2018<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you need <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/blog-turbotax-intuit-com-develop.go-vip.co\/health-care\/the-turbotax-guide-to-marketplace-open-enrollment-20386\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Marketplace health insurance<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for 2019 you have to enroll through the Health Insurance Marketplace by December 15, 2018. Want your coverage to take immediate effect by the New Year on January 1, 2019? Select your plan by <\/span><b>December 15, 2018<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Deadline to Maximize Your 401K Contributions: December 31, 2018<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Whether you are self-employed or work for an employer, you have until the end of the year to maximize your 401K contributions, saving you money for retirement and on your taxes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>W-2s and 1099-Misc Start to Arrive: January 31, 2019 <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You should start seeing your W-2s and 1099s arrive in the mail.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Tax Year 2018 Tax Deadline: April 15, 2019<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s the big day! Individual tax returns are due for Tax Year 2018, so be sure e-file or postmark your individual tax returns by midnight local time. The regular tax return filing deadline is April 15. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Last Day to make a 2018 IRA Contributions: April 15, 2019 <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s not just Tax Day! If you haven\u2019t maxed out your IRA contribution for 2018, you can make contributions to an IRA by April 15, 2019, to lower your 2018 taxable income and also get a tax deduction. Just be sure to tell your administrator that your contribution is for 2018.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Self-Employed?
